Simply Wellness Cardiff is a luxury spa & beauty salon recently relocated to our beautiful new premises on Windsor place Cardiff city centre. CF10 3BY.
Established in 2014 it has achieved a Certificate of excellence by Trip advisor and currently holds 1st place for recommended salons in Cardiff.
In order to be considered for this role, applicants must be able to hit the ground running.
We are seeking a motivated experienced beauty therapist.
You must have excellent communication skills and salon experience.
You will be required to join the salon and work alongside a small fun loving team, as well as work alone occasionally.

Our Ideal Candidate

Minimum NVQ level 2/3.
Beauty Therapist (Essential) Must be fully competent in ladies intermit hot waxing 2 years minimum beauty salon experience. Have Decelor Paris Facial training certificate, A confident skilled beauty therapist.
Professional manner & conduct.

Open, friendly & approachable personality.

Enthusiastic/flexible & a team player.

Main Responsibilities:

To ensure all treatments are performed to the highest standards and deliver an exceptional personal one to one treatment experience.
Have the ability to help with the smooth operational running of salon.
Operate the database and system software.
Cash handling, emailing & repeating booking for clients.
Helping with the general running of the salon. Supporting the team.
Answering the phone and taking bookings in a professional friendly manner.
Opening and closing the salon as required and covering holiday periods within the salon.
Ensure the salon is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
You will be required to perform treatments that we offer within the salon:- Training will be offered in-house & outhouse on treatments that you are not qualified in. Training & development is a big part of the salon's ethos.

Hour of Work:

Hours & days of work can be discussed during the interview.

Permanent Position:

Salon opens at 10:00am - 6:00 Tuesday To Friday.

9:30am -5:30pm Saturday.
Closed Sunday & Monday.

Responsibilities

Use Lycon waxing system for facial and body hair removal. Hot & Strip Waxing.
Provide relaxing manicures and pedicures as well as face and body massages
Provide various kinds of facial treatments.
Examine the skin and suggest the treatments accordingly
Remove facial hair by waxing
Manage day to day appointments of the clients
Update client archives with contact particulars and treatments details
Make sure all spaces are hygienic, and clean
Ensure that the equipment is sanitized before use

Requirements

NVQ level 2 or 3
2 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist or a Spa Therapist in any reputed beauty salon or healthcare facility or Cosmetologist.
Thorough knowledge of using hot stone and reflexology for body massages
Practical understanding with massages, hair removal procedures and face treatments
Exceptional client service skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak in multiple languages
Good organisational skills
Basic knowledge of Computers like using printers, we currently used Timely software.
